1 Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Specifically:

• Device & usage data — your device model, OS version, app version, language, country, and crash logs. This helps us keep the app stable.
• Storage access — to play and save audio files on your device. We never read or upload your personal files.
• Notification permission — used solely to power the music playback notification.
• Search history (local only) — kept on your device for a better search experience. Never uploaded.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the app's core music features.
• Diagnose crashes and performance issues.
• Show relevant ads through trusted advertising partners.
• Keep the service safe from abuse and fraud.

3 Advertising

The app displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising ID and limited usage signals to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings under Privacy → Ads.

4 Online Music & Downloads

Streaming and search results come from public third-party sources. When you download a track, the file is stored locally in your device's Music/MixTube Official folder. MixTube does not host, own, or distribute any copyrighted music. All rights belong to their respective owners.

5 Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
• We do not access your photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not sell your data — ever.

6 Children's Privacy

MixTube is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7 Data Retention

Locally stored data — downloaded songs, favourites, playlists, search history — stays on your device until you remove it. Uninstalling the app deletes app-managed data automatically.

8 Your Rights & Choices

You can at any time:

• Revoke storage or notification permissions in your device settings.
• Reset your advertising ID.
• Delete downloaded music from the in-app Downloads screen.
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data.

9 Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect any data we handle. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we do our best to minimize the risk.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be highlighted inside the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document always reflects the latest revision.
