The short version: MixTube is provided free, as it is. Use it for music you have the right to play, don't try to break it, and understand that we can't guarantee it will never have problems.
Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using MixTube, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MixTube on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
What you may not do
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or rent the app
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices
- Use the app to infringe anyone's intellectual property rights
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that interferes with its operation
Your content and your responsibility
MixTube plays audio files that are on your device. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and play the media you use with the app, and for complying with the laws that apply where you are and with the terms of any service that media came from. We do not supply, host or licence music, and we are not responsible for how you obtain the media you play.
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app at any time. Features may be added, altered or removed. We are not obliged to provide updates or support.
Advertising and third-party services
The app may display advertisements and may use third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
MixTube, its name, logo and the app itself are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
MixTube is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will work on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, media files, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the app, your media files, or your breach of these terms.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the app after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
